Day 312/366
I have no idea where these tulips come from, but we’ve been getting them all Fall at Trader Joe’s. I suppose somebody has figured out how to fool the tulip bulbs into blooming all through the year. In fact a quick look through this FAQ from Tulip World, discusses Winter bulbs and Summer bulbs. Therefore we can enjoy tulips all year long.
Day 310 of 366.
I caught my daughter enjoying a snack!
The marks on her nose are from those scented markers that are oh so fun to play with!
Fresh lemons for Day 307 of 366. I’m quite pleased with my dwarf lemon tree crop this year… I’m thinking lots of gluten free lemon loaf this year!
Had a fun night Trick or Treating this year…. The kids did really well! J was Jesse the character from Toy Story and R was ElectroBot. A robot character he came up with. He’s a robot powered by alternative energy sources. He has solar panels on his back and a windmill on his belly with wires connecting it all and of course a light bulb on his hat! At the end he wasn’t happy with his costume as stuff was falling off on our walk around the neighborhood. I thought it was clever. i’ve posted some photos from the evening in this post and more are posted at this gallery on Smugmug
