My Son went to Springs Preserve and made a fun craft. Springs Preserve is built around the spring that was the reason the wagon trains stopped in Las Vegas to get water crossing the desert. Its a fairly large amount of land that was set aside by a few awhile ago. There is a museum and desert animal habitats as well desert gardening examples and workshops. They also have a bike trail where you can rent bikes and cruise through the preserve. It’s a fun few hours spent!
